Upright
This calls for a decision made with a long view.
Lead the direction and let others handle the details.
Your vision is credible because it is built on what you have already done.
Set a bold target that has a measurable first stage.
The risk is worth taking if the plan has a checkpoint.
Reversed
Ambition is turning into ego and the team can feel it.
The vision is being imposed rather than argued.
Rule by decree works once and fails after that.
Test the plan against a dissenting voice.
Ask whether the target is for the work or for the image.
