Major Arcana · IX
The Hermit
solitudereflectionwisdomsearching
Upright
Withdraw long enough to hear your own judgement.
The answer is found alone this time.
Company is adding noise rather than clarity right now.
A walk, a notebook or an hour without a screen will produce the missing insight.
Light for others often comes after you have walked the road yourself.
Reversed
Retreat has turned into avoidance.
You have been alone with the question long enough that it stopped moving.
Isolation can feel like depth while it is only protection.
Bring one trusted person into the problem.
Test the idea in the world before refining it again.
